About Us

The statewide network that makes sure every child in Pennsylvania's courts has an advocate.

Pennsylvania's State Office

CYAN of Pennsylvania advances the health, safety, and wellness of children experiencing neglect and abuse in Pennsylvania. We develop strategy and plans that allow child advocacy to thrive, and we serve as a mission-driven champion to empower affiliates across the Commonwealth.

Local Affiliates

Local affiliates are organized around a specific juvenile court jurisdiction. They recruit, train, and support Judicial Child Advocates: community volunteers, appointed by judges, who are the most effective tool to ensure children are on the path to permanency.

Since 1998

Founded in 1998, we became CYAN of Pennsylvania on October 7, 2026. Our mission is unchanged: to grow, strengthen, and unite local affiliates so they can ensure the safety, well-being, and forever home for every child who has experienced abuse or neglect in Pennsylvania.

It only takes one advocate to impact a child. We know this to be true.

The stories prove it. We hear them every day, from stakeholders who see firsthand how a home visit or court report can change a child’s circumstances for the better. And the data proves it. Children assigned a volunteer advocate are 88% less likely to re-enter the care system.

Bring Advocacy to Every County
